My Review

Pros:

  • Interesting autobiography, as Niraj gains experience and deals with difficult life situations, which all of us can relate to on some level;
  • Useful advice and examples for those working/planning to work in the corporate world.

Cons

  • It was a slog to get through, the writing didn’t always flow well and some of the lessons felt forced.

There are some people for whom this would be a useful primer, and it has a place in careers advice, but it wasn’t a fast or easy read. Partly that was the writing style and structure, and partly it was the material covered. I found the autobiography the most interesting part of the book.
