Or, possibly third if you count the ‘i don’t like many Christmas songs playlist’ post earlier.
My third bah humbug if the season goes to Christmas movies. I can’t stand Christmas films. Seriously, most of them suck! They’re saccharine essays in pop morality with very little originality or an interesting storyline.
The exceptions to this rule are few and far between but include:
A Christmas Carol
Any version but I’m quite fond of the Muppets version, the black and white Alistair Sims film, and the animated one that was on BBC 1 this afternoon
Based on the book by Terry Pratchett of the same name. Death takes over as Hogfather in order to save Hogswatch.
Bam Margera’s Where the &*#! Is Santa?
I haven’t watched this one this year, I haven’t been in the mood for watching a professional idiot and his friends pratting around in Finland looking for Santa. There’s some good music in this one though (Ville Valo singing Silent Night while one of Bam’s friends gets tattooed on the top of a hotel for a start).
It’s a very short list. I also like to watch the Dr Who Christmas Special on Christmas Day. But that’s about it.
